Caring for Mom and Dad
If you or a loved one need extra help, our personalized and custom health home care is a great option. Normally, Hopkinton Home Care is used to relieve the caregiver or his or her duties for a few hours or the day while ensuring that the recipient, Mom, Dad, Grandma or even your loved one on bed rest. Hopkinton Home Care will provide proper care in a safe, friendly environment.
Everyone needs a little help now and then!
The average participant in this type of program is a female in their 70’s who lives with family and that family member simply needs help caring for their loved one. About 50 percent of the elderly loved ones require assistance with at least two daily living activities such a bathing, medication management or companionship. We know that many will first refuse to consider this as an option. A few clients worry that their loved ones will resent being taken care of, while others feel guilty at the thought of leaving their loved ones in another person’s care. When it works correctly, however, this option can improve the care recipient’s overall behavior and provide the caregiver with much-needed time off.
Generally, your loved one will benefit because:
- It allows him or her to stay in his or her community
- It gives him or her a new, friendly face to interact with
- It provides needed social interaction
- It provides greater structure to his or her daily activities
Services and activities may include:

- Exercise programs
